NEW YORK — Officers had a split second life or death decision when a man walked into NYPD Precinct 75 with a long knife, according to NYPD Chief Terrence Monahan.
The cops reacted quickly to the emotional man who was asking to be shot and tased him.
“Though prepared for the worst, they delivered a safe outcome for everyone.”
In the video, you can see the suspect flinching, like’s expecting to get shot, but the only thing he felt was a taser and then, the floor.
Chief Terence Monahan praised his officers for a job well done.
