Unlicensed spa worked arrested for soliciting sex to Harris County constable investigators

HARRIS COUNTY – An investigation conducted at the SQ Foot Spa led investigators with Constable Mark Herman’s Criminal Investigation Division to the arrest of one woman for prostitution charges.

According to Constable Herman, the investigation at the spa, located in the 11200 block of Veterans Memorial, stemmed from a tip received regarding possible prostitution from the business.

As constable investigators entered the spa posing as customers, they were immediately solicited sex for a fee by Aimin Tan, an employee of the spa that was also an unlicensed Massage Therapist, stated the constable.

It was later revealed during the investigation that Tan was out on bond for a previous prostitution charge.

Tan was arrested and charged with Prostitution. She was transported to the Harris County Jail with a $500.00 bond out of County Court 13.

Constable Herman concluded by saying, “To report illegal prostitution or other unlawful activities, citizens may go to our website at www.ConstablePct4.com, click on On-Line Services, and then click on Regulatory Violation. Complaints may remain anonymous.”
