UVALDE COUNTY – Two suspected undocumented immigrants along with a U.S. citizen were arrested on July 24 after leading Uvalde County Sheriff’s deputies and CBP agents on a vehicle pursuit.

UCSO stated that the incident happened when deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 90 West at approximately 12:38 p.m. in response to a vehicle pursuit that began in Maverick County.

The vehicle, a Ford F-250, was said to be driven by an American citizen and had been reported stolen from Austin the day before, said officials.

“Multiple state and federal agencies responded to assist and the vehicle ultimately ‘bailed out’ into the brush just west of the US Border Patrol Checkpoint in 90 West,” detailed Uvalde County authorities.

A CBP helicopter assisted law enforcement at the scene which subsequently led to the detainment of the three individuals.
