Panhandling suspect arrested on two felony warrants on 1604 in San Antonio


SAN ANTONIO — North SAPD SAFFE Officer Rahman made the arrest of a suspected panhandler Tuesday on two felony warrants.

Police say that Nick Marez was panhandling on 1604 in north San Antonio and gave a false name and date of birth when stopped.

After an investigation, Rahman was able to find Marez’s real name and date of birth.

Marez had a parole violation warrant for drug dealing and another felony warrant for drug offenses, according to police.

He was also booked for being a fugitive and giving a false name.
