Community-wide prayer vigil set for tonight to honor late Kendall County deputies, Deputy Carlos Ramirez and Sgt. Matthew Johnson

KENDALL COUNTY – A community-wide prayer vigil is being held tonight, July 10, at 7:00 p.m. for Deputy Carlos Ramirez and Sgt. Matthew Johnson.

“Please join us for a community-wide prayer vigil in honor of our brothers who have been taken from us too soon,” said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

The prayer vigil will take place at Veterans Plaza located at 801 S Main Street in Boerne at 7:00 p.m., rain or shine.

KCSO added, “We are grateful for Angels All Around You Military Ministry hosting this time for the communities in and around our beautiful Texas Hill Country.”

The prayer vigil is open to the public and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has invited anyone to attend who wishes to honor the two law enforcement officers, Deputy Ramirez, and Sgt. Johnson, as well as their families.

KCSO concluded to say, “Together We Are Stronger.”
