Harris County road rage incident escalates and leads to arrest

HARRIS COUNTY – On Sunday, August 4th, Harris County deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 28200 block of State Highway 290 indication to a road rage incident in progress, stating the enraged driver pointed a gun at another on the highway.

Upon arriving, deputies spoke with the complainant, they stated that while driving on the main lanes of State Highway 290, he pulled in from of a vehicle, causing that driver to become upset.

The driver was identified at the scene as David Davis. He began to yell, make unacceptable gestures, and pulled a handgun, racking the slide back and pointing it at the other driver. In fear for his life, the complainant quickly called 911.

“David Davis was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $20,000.00 out of the 351st District Court.”-Constable Mark Herman.
