Fort Worth police in search for suspect in gas station theft and assault

FORT WORTH – On Friday, June 14th, at exactly 5:30 p.m., a Hispanic male entered a gas station known as RaceTrac located at 2921 Western Center Boulevard.

The suspect began hiding food within his clothing while walking throughout the store. An employee confronted the man about the items he had concealed within his clothes, at that time the suspect apparently punched the employee.

The suspect then grabbed some chips and ran from the store, crossing Western Center Boulevard. It is believed that the suspect is between 25-30 years old and has multiple tattoos covering his arms. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts, and black and white shoes.

The gas station employee stated that suspect is known to “cause problems in the area.”

Police are asking that anyone who recognized the suspect or may have information about the incidence to please call the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4377.
